Dipping and Dying Your Nails

Sooo today I'm atn my friend, Alex's, house. We decided that we wanted to try to 'tie-dye' or nails. Here's how we did it: 1.) get your supplies -a small bowl -lukewarm water in the bowl -at least two nail polishes you like -toothpicks -nail polish remover -cotton swabs 2.) You might want to lay down newspaper, because this is a messier project. Or just go some place that you don't mind cleaning up1 :). 3.) First, mix all the nailpolishes in the bowl with the lukewarm water. You usually put a few drops of each. Note: You must do this rather quickly. We learned the hard way haha. 4.) Then, swirl the nail polish with a toothpick and quickly dip your nail in the water. There will be excess nail polish on your finger, so you can get it off with your remover. Make sure you take out all the nail polish you didnt use for each nail with a toothpick! 5.) Repeat steps 3 & 4 on each nail. And tah-dah! Your nails are "tie-dyed". Keep in mind, this takes practice. As you can see, our first try wasn't the prettiest. Have a fantastic weekend! :) Love, Hannah
